The Arlington International Film Festival has launched its annual contest inviting local students to create a poster for next fall’s edition. Arlington High and Arlington Catholic High students have until Jan. 13 to submit a design.  The winner, to be named in February, will receive $500, and the winning poster will be featured in promotions for the festival. The poster must include “Arlington International Film Festival,” as well as its dates — Oct. 23-27, 2013 — and location, the Regent Theatre, 7 Medford St. More information about the contest and the film festival can be found at www.aiffest.org.
