The town’s Community Preservation Committee recently voted to recommend projects seeking a total of nearly $1.64 million for approval by Town Meeting next spring. The requests earning the committee’s support included $175,000 for community housing projects; $949,000 for historic preservation; and $472,800 for open space. Money was also set aside for staff and technical services.
