Citing work and family responsibilities, Michelle Catalina recently resigned as chairwoman of the Planning Board. Catalina was appointed to the board in January 2011, and won the seat without opposition in the town’s annual election. Previously, she had been an associate member of the board. The Planning Board and selectmen are discussing how to fill her position. The five-member board’s vice chairman, Peter Brooks, will pick up the gavel until a new chairman is named.
