School officials review safety plans

Officials in Berlin-Boylston Regional School District are taking another look at their emergency response plans after the recent fatal shootings at an elementary school in Newtown, Conn. A crisis team, already established by the two-town system, is reviewing safety and emergency plans in each school building, Superintendent Nadine Ekstrom said in a recent announcement sent to parents and posted on the district’s website, www.bbrsd.schoolfusion.us.
