Board fills seats on committees

The Board of Selectmen last week made three appointments to fill vacancies on town boards. Kerry A. Reed, an environmental engineer, was appointed to a three-year term on the Conservation Commission. In addition, two members were appointed to the 300th Celebration Committee for the duration of the project. They are Nancy McBride, who listed graphic design and copywriting as areas of expertise on her application, and high school student Sarah McCool, who has worked as a volunteer on the celebration committee and with the Relay for Life fund-raiser for cancer research.
