The developers of 1265 Main, a mixed-use project on the former Polaroid property, have announced several stores and restaurants that will be renting space in the first phase of the 280,000-square-foot plaza off Main Street and Route 128. The initial tenants will be Market Basket, Starbucks, Marshalls, TD Bank, Bonefish Grill, and Jake n Joes Sports Grille, according to the announcement. Construction of their spaces is scheduled to begin by late March or April, with partial occupancy by the end of the year, developers said. The developers will be asking the City Council to approve drive-through uses in the near future, they said in an e-mail to Mayor Jeannette McCarthy. The developers also said they are working to add more fashion retailers and office tenants for the site.
