Dogs serve as soothing audience

The “Paws to Read’’ therapy-dog reading program will visit the Medway Public Library  from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, and on Feb. 6 from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Children in grades 2 through 6 are invited to sign up for a 15-minute time slot to read with one of several therapy dogs. Children can bring their own books or use books from the library; participants must be able to read for themselves. Preregistration is required. For more information or to sign up, stop by the library’s circulation desk or call Lorie Brownell at 508-533-3217.
