Reading program to focus on Roosevelt journey

Hosted by the Gleason Public Library, Carlisle’s community reading program will begin an intensive exploration of “The River of Doubt: Inside Theodore Roosevelt’s Darkest Journey’’ this week. Events related to the community reading program will include discussions on Roosevelt’s journey through the Amazon, psychological insights into risk-taking behavior, a screening of a documentary on Roosevelt, and other opportunities to explore the book throughout the month.
