Graduating seniors, it's time to use those new computers and tablets you got over the holidays to help pay for college. The Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School, 65 Pleasant St., is reminding students that even over the holiday break they can be working on college scholarship applications. The Scholarship Information link on the school website, www.valleytech.k12.ma.us, explains the process, and offers a host of links to online applications. Many of the most generous scholarship awards have a tight deadline, with several due by mid-January, the site notes. These include scholarships offered by the JCI Senate Scholarship, with the application due Jan. 10, as well as the Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation, and the Washington Crossing Foundation Scholarship, both due by Jan. 15. Many scholarships award between $1,000, and $5,000 annually.
