The town recently surveyed residents to receive feedback about local services, spending priorities, and how well officials communicate information to residents. The town conducted a similar survey in 2006, 2008, and 2010. Overall, residents appear more satisfied with town services than they have been in past years, according to the survey, which was conducted by Pacific Market Research via telephone calls to 376 randomly selected residents in November. In 2010, 36 percent of residents rated the overall quality of services from town government excellent, compared with 46 percent in the recent survey. The latest survey also found that residents are more satisfied with the services they receive in relation to taxes paid. In 2010, 40 percent were very satisfied, compared with 47 percent in the new survey. The survey’s findings were released last month, and have been posted on the town’s website, www.concordnet.org.
