Classes teach elementary money skills

The Norfolk Community Federal Credit Union is holding a class for Freeman-Kennedy Elementary School students on developing practical money skills on the next three Thursdays from 3:15  to 4:15 p.m. The course, for students in grades 3 through 6, will cover such areas as allowances and spending; being responsible with money; saving and investing; and comparison shopping. Upon completion of the free course, each student will receive $10 deposited in a credit union account in his or her name.
