The town’s Council on Aging is seeking volunteers to drive local seniors to medical and other appointments, and to visit homebound residents on a regular basis. The volunteer drivers would serve as backup transportation when the senior center’s van is not available. The visits, usually once a week, would be based on the volunteer’s and senior’s schedules. The council is also looking for help in putting together its newsletter on the final Thursday of each month. For more information, call the council at 508-533-3210.
