Anyone interested in filling a vacancy on the Hopkinton Housing Authority should submit a letter of interest by Tuesday. The elected position was left open after the resignation of Deborah Kollmeyer, who moved out of town. The Board of Selectmen and remaining members of the housing authority will appoint a member to fill her seat on the five-member board until the annual town election in May. The housing authority consists of four elected members and one appointed by the governor, and is charged with providing “safe and adequate housing” for low-income families and seniors in town, according to a press release. Regular meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month. An online volunteer form can be completed at www.hopkintonma.gov/home/about/hug , or a letter can be submitted to: Jamie Hellen, operations assistant, town manager’s office, 18 Main St., Hopkinton, MA 01748.
