Bentley University undergraduate students will be studying Lexington Center as part of a semester-long course that will look at best suburban downtown practices. Students from the university’s integrated business project course will research Lexington Center, including conducting a focus group and an e-mail survey about the business district. The students will present the results  at the conclusion of the spring semester in May, according to the Lexington Center Committee. Committee chairman Jerry Michelson enlisted the students for the project, and Peter Siy, a member of the committee, is one of the professors at Bentley who is responsible for the integrated business projects course. Michelson said the Lexington Center Committee will be seeking residents to participate in the focus group. The Bentley course will examine market and local trends, best practices for suburban downtown areas, and operations, marketing and finance issues.
