Work of Eagle Scout candidate helps reopen Sudbury trail

The Sudbury Conservation Commission is reopening its popular trail around the Duck Pond in the Hop Brook Conservation Land off Dutton Road. The opening of the trail, which was closed last winter, was made possible by Erik Lloyd,  an Eagle Scout candidate from Troop 12 in Framingham. A new bridge along the trail replaces planks that were unsafe, unsightly, and inhibited wildlife movement, according to the Conservation Commission. Lloyd also performed work on the abutting section of the trail.
