The Bellingham Public Library is holding an information session to recruit for its Bellingham Book Award Committee on Monday , from 4 to 5 p.m. The committee is seeking members in grades 3 to 6 who are willing to read 15 newly published books over the course of the year. In December, committee members will vote in such categories as favorite character, funniest moment, and best book. The following month, the library plans to host  a special awards evening where committee members and their families will be invited to have dinner as the awards are announced.
