The annual election this spring could feature at least one contested townwide race. Nicod Street resident Michael G. Buckley has taken out nomination papers to run for one of two School Committee seats on the ballot. Incumbent School Committee members Judson Pierce  and Kirsi Allison-Ampe  have obtained papers to run for reelection. One seat on the Board of Selectmen is also on the ballot this year, but incumbent Kevin Greeley  was the only candidate who had pulled nomination papers for the position as of midweek, according to the town clerk’s office. The deadline to obtain nomination papers for the town election is Feb. 14.
