Residents are invited to attend a Planning Board hearing Tuesday regarding a proposal to revise town zoning bylaws in light of the recent law legalizing medical marijuana in Massachusetts. The proposed bylaw would address the possible adverse public health and safety consequences of the law, enacted by voters in the November state election, as well as outline specific zoning standards and regulations for medical marijuana centers. A copy of the proposed amendment can be viewed at the Planning Board’s and town clerk’s offices in the Forbes Municipal Building, 45 West Main St., where Tuesday’s meeting will convene in Room 23 at 7:30 p.m. Call 508-366-3055 for more information.
