Town preparing bid for housing grant

The Board of Selectmen is seeking community support for its effort to obtain funding from the state’s Department of Housing and Community Development. The town is working with Hopedale to submit a regional application for up to $900,000 to fund a housing rehabilitation program to assist low- and moderate-income homeowners in making repairs they could not otherwise afford, and to ensure that all town facilities and programs are compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Public comments can be e-mailed until Feb. 11  to dfraine@bellinghamma.org . For more information, visit the town's website, www.bellinghamma.org .
