The town has relocated its needle-disposal kiosk to the lobby of the Department of Public Works building at 257 Fisher St. The kiosk will be available to residents during normal department business hours. No needles, syringes, or lancets will be accepted unless they are inside approved containers, which can be purchased at several areas stores and pharmacies. The Police Department has a separate collection bin in its lobby for residents to dispose of medications. For more information, visit the municipal website, www.town.franklin.ma.us.
