Residents are encouraged to visit the Southborough Library at 11 a.m. Wednesday for a discussion with Massachusetts author Maryanne O’Hara. Her debut novel, “Cascade,” focuses on a Depression-era artist living in one of the four towns to be flooded to create Quabbin Reservoir. The book has been praised since its release last August, making numerous best-book lists. Call the library at 508-485-5031 with any questions. A snow date is set for Feb. 27.
