Fund offers grants to aid seniors

The Marshall Home Fund, a nonprofit foundation that serves Watertown’s senior population, is requesting proposals for grants through this year’s program. The foundation provides awards in amounts up to $10,000 to local agencies, organizations, and town departments that work with the elderly. The grants support efforts that benefit Watertown residents age 55 and older, according to the foundation. An informational session about the application process will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Parish of Watertown, 35 Church St., with a snow date scheduled for the same time on Feb. 20. RSVPs and requests for application forms can be e-mailed to info@marshallhomefund.org. The application deadline is April 1. For more information, visit www.marshallhomefund.org
