Learn more about tax credit for seniors

Representatives from the state Department of Revenue will be answering questions about the Massachusetts Circuit Breaker Tax Credit at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Council on Aging offices, 12 Mudge Way. Bedford residents who are age 65 or older and pay more than 10 percent their total income for real estate taxes may qualify for the tax credit as long as they have filed a state income tax return. The maximum amount that can be credited is $1,000. Some options apply to renters as well. For more information, call 781-275-6825.
