Earlier this month, the Community Preservation Committee voted to recommend 12 appropriations to be voted on at the annual Town Meeting in April. Their recommendations include $25,000 to complete the Wilson Mill construction project with landscaping and plants; $59,500 to upgrade mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems at Town Hall; $100,000 for restoration of the historical Depot Building, which would represent the third and final phase of restoration in Depot Park; $125,000 for resurfacing Bedford’s section of the Minuteman Bikeway; $122,000 for reconstruction of the middle school tennis courts; and $355,000 to be put toward the artificial turf implementation at Sabourin Field. Town Meeting will convene April 1.
