New date for Caryl Park hearing

A Planning Board review of proposed artificial- and naturual-turf playing fields, parking, lights and an access road at Caryl Park was postponed last week. The site-plan review had been scheduled for Monday, but at the request of the Park and Recreation Commission it was tentatively postponed until March 12. The privately funded proposal includes two turf fields for football, lacrosse, and soccer, a natural turf practice field, lighting, a new parking area, and a one-way access road with a new exit onto Dedham Street, according to plans filed with the Planning Board. The plans and other materials on the proposal are available on the Planning Board’s page on the town website, www.doverma.org,  and in the Town House offices of the Planning Board and town clerk.
