This spring’s annual town election, with the ballot including the town moderator position and seats on the Board of Selectmen, School Committee, and other town boards, has been moved up to April 30. The election, originally planned for May 7, was rescheduled to coincide with the statewide special primary election for US Senate. With the change, deadlines for candidates filing nomination papers have also been moved up. The last day to obtain nomination papers is now March 8, and the new deadline for returning the completed forms to the town clerk’s office is March 12.
