Film festival picks winning poster

Arlington High sophomore Marley Jurgensmeyer was recently named the winner of the Arlington International Film Festival’s annual poster contest. Jurgensmeyer won $500 for her poster design, which will be used by the film festival in October. Her poster features an image of film that incorporated flags from nations around the world. The other finalists for the top prize were Arlington High students Jacob Ballin, Sadie Griesmer, Galen Hall, and Larsen Linov, and two Arlington Catholic High students, Lydia Genard and Yangyuchen Li.
