The town’s Board of Health is sponsoring a presentation on family and personal preparedness Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the senior center on School Street. The program will go over basic information residents should know about how to prepare themselves and their families in the event of a natural disaster or other emergency. Topics will include what to have on hand in the house, items to include in an emergency kit, and important phone numbers, as well as information about volunteer opportunities. Walk-ins are welcome. To register in advance, or for more information, call the Board of Health office at 508-695-3010, ext. 16.
