A workshop for parents and education professionals on basic rights in special education will be held Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Medway Public Library. The free workshop is intended to help parents partner with their child’s school to decide on eligibility for special education, and to make decisions and monitor their child’s progress. A presenter from the Federation for Children with Special Needs will discuss the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Massachusetts special education law,  and the No Child Left Behind Act. For more information, call Barbara McDaniel at 508-533-3229, ext. 5177, or visit the school district’s website, www.medwayschools.org .
