Tax work-off deadline


Thursday is the deadline for seniors wanting to apply for limited municipal work that would qualify them for a credit of up to $1,000 on their property tax bills. The Council on Aging is managing the program, which is open to residents at least 60 years old who have been a property owner in town for at least a year. Applications may be downloaded from the council’s webpage at www.harvard.ma.us . Questions should be addressed to William Herbert, the council’s program coordinator, at 978-456-4120.
