The Franklin Performing Arts Company is holding a “Culinary Cabaret’’ food and wine event Friday from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Clarke Culinary Center, 393 Fortune Blvd. in Milford. The evening supports Electric Youth, a regional ensemble of singers and dancers planning to tour Asia this year. The evening will feature cooking demonstrations by area chefs, wine tastings, a silent auction,  and entertainment by Electric Youth and other company artists. The event will also highlight the Franklin Food Pantry’s Sponsor-a-Shelf program, which encourages businesses and organization to help stock particular pantry items.
