The Southborough School Committee will continue its discussion on the town’s K-8 school budget at Wednesday’s meeting. At its meeting last month the committee approved a fiscal 2014 budget of almost $17 million. The budget is a 4.06 percent increase from this year, due largely in part to increased special education cost needs. To learn more about the proposed budget — which still needs approval of Town Meeting — residents can attend Wednesday night’s meeting, beginning at 6:30  in the library of the Trottier Middle School, 49 Parkerville Road.
