Selectmen to hold hearing on proposed bylaw changes

The Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing during its March 18 meeting on potential changes in the personnel plan, the Finance Committee bylaw, the dog license bylaw, and the dog control bylaw. There are warrants on the annual Town Meeting warrant that would allow more flexibility in the method to determine wage increases, change the dog officer’s title to animal control officer, and change the number of members on the Finance Committee. Also at the meeting, the public works director will present proposed fees for drop-off bulk items at the transfer station. The selectmen meet at 7 p.m. in the Grange Meeting Room at Town Hall.
