Buzz builds for Trivia Bee

More than 20 teams representing schools, community groups, and elected officials will square off in the Arlington Education Foundation’s annual Trivia Bee next Sunday. The trivia contest, which has been held annually for more than a decade, will be in Arlington Town Hall at 3 p.m. Attending the event is free, but teams pay $75 to participate and proceeds support Arlington Education Foundation grants to local educators for creative new projects and school system initiatives. Superintendent of Schools Kathleen Bodie will sit on the panel of judges for the competition, and the winning team will get to choose which local school’s library will receive a donation of books. In 2012, the “Ottosuns,” a team of dads from Ottoson Middle School, won the trivia competition. More information can be found online at www.arlingtoneducation foundationma.org.
