The Hopkinton Running Club is again organizing a Couch to 5K Learn to Run program on Saturday mornings starting April 6. It will run for 10 weeks, until June 15, the day of the Sharon Timlin Memorial 5K Road Race that starts at Hopkinton High School. The goal is for program participants to run in this annual race that raises funds for ALS research. Participants will meet at 9 a.m. at the outdoor track at the high school. The program is geared toward all levels of runners, from novice to people who “used to run” or “run a little bit” but want to complete a 5-kilometer, or 3.1-mile race. The cost of the program is $35, which includes a one-year membership in the Hopkinton Running Club. Space in the program will limited to the first 35 who sign up. For more information, or to sign up, visit the club’s website at www.runhopkinton.org.
