Gallery to close after 15 years

As a major supporter of the local art community over the years, the Westboro Gallery has been a source of cultural enrichment for the town of Westborough. The nonprofit artists’ cooperative has offered residents the chance to see first-hand the collections and works of local and New England artists, and has hosted award programs for town youths. This month, however, the gallery’s 15-year run will come to an end because of dwindling sales and other financial struggles. A closing reception will take place Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. Until then, various pieces of gallery art will be for sale. The reception is open to the public and refreshments will be served. Anyone with questions can call the gallery at 508-870-0110.
