The town’s Board of Library Trustees is starting a three-month process that will evaluate the library’s “strengths, opportunities, and aspirations, and determine how to measure them,” according to a posting on the municipal website, www.hopkintonma.gov. Two focus groups with a cross-section of residents as well as town officials and library representatives will contribute to a final report that will help determine the Hopkinton Public Library’s future. Residents are encouraged to participate in the focus groups, which are scheduled for April 23 from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and April 25 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Anyone interested in joining a focus group should contact library director Rownak Hussain by Monday at 508-497-3400 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
