Lottery for Farm Pond beach parking

Entries to the town’s annual lottery for Farm Pond nonresident parking stickers will be accepted starting Monday and continuing through April 30. Parking at the pond’s beach is not allowed without a sticker or resident pass; 125 full-season stickers will be available to nonresidents at a cost of $300 each, and 50 stickers for August will be available for $125. To be eligible for the drawing, send a letter with name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number in a No. 10 white envelope to Farm Pond Lottery, c/o Selectmen’s Office, 19 Washington St., Sherborn, MA 01770. Entries after April 30 will not be accepted, and duplicate entries will be discarded. Farm Pond is open weekends from Memorial Day until the end of the Sherborn school year, and then daily from 9 a.m. until dusk through the end of August. The lottery’s winning names will be posted on the town’s website, www.sherbornma.org, on May 1.
