Town to collect yard debris

Curbside yard-waste pickup will begin Monday, and run for six weeks until May 13. There will be no pickup, however, on April 15, the day of the Boston Marathon. Residents should place their yard waste in brown paper bags or in trash barrels clearly marked “yard waste.” As with rubbish and recycling collection, yard waste must be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. on collection day. For more information, call David Miller at the Department of Public Works at 508-881-0120, ext. 19, or e-mail dmiller@ashlandmass.com .
