The Easter Bunny is getting bumped by Old Man Winter this year. The town’s Recreation Department has rescheduled its fifth annual Easter egg hunt because of muddy conditions at McClennen Field. The scramble for little chocolate eggs and other prizes will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, which is an early release day for the town’s public school students. Children from 2 through 10 years old can participate in the hunt, which will be broken into three age groups. The event is free, but the town is asking that each child bring a basket or paper bag to collect the eggs.
