IPods, welcoming mats, and educational games were recently funded by the Boylston Education Foundation as part of its annual grant cycle to help instill in kindergarten students at Boylston Elementary School a learning philosophy known as “the responsive classroom.” The philosophy helps build social skills and academic achievement in early learners, educators say.
