The town’s Open Space Committee will host a guided walk of Snow Hill on Saturday starting at 10:30 a.m. Walkers will meet at the small circle at the bottom of Snows Hill Lane near Centre Street. The walk will go from the town conservation land past the old hemlock, one of the oldest trees in Dover, and up to the fire tower on the Dover Land Conservation Trust’s Snow Hill Reservation. Organizers say the route will not be too strenuous, but will be over uneven ground that may be wet. Appropriate footwear should be worn, and walking sticks, binoculars, and cameras are encouraged. Polite leashed dogs are welcome, and the guided walk will be held in misty rain to shine. For questions, e-mail the Open Space Committee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
