With the search for a new superintendent and principal for the Carlisle school system narrowed to five finalists, town residents are invited to meet the candidates at question and answer periods to be held after each candidate’s daylong visit to the school this week. The finalists will also be interviewed by the School Committee during public hearings that evening. On Monday, Peter Cohen will meet with residents from 3:15 to 4 p.m., and Thomas Campbell will take part in the Q&A from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. Campbell will be interviewed by the school board from 6 to 7:30 p.m., while Cohen’s session is slated for 8 to 9:30 p.m. On Thursday, a Q&A session with Joan Wickman is set for 3:15 to 4 p.m., followed by Dean Blase from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. Blase will meet with the School Committee from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and Wickman will be interviewed from 8 to 9:30 p.m. On Friday, finalist Frederick Randall’s meeting with residents is from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m., and his school board interview is 8 to 9:30 p.m. The sessions will be in the Corey Dining Room at the Carlisle School.
