Hopkinton is among 50 communities statewide participating in the Commonwealth Connect project, which enables local officials to provide a mobile app to residents so they can monitor and give their opinions on issues being decided in town. It is the latest addition to the town’s online presence, which started using Google Apps for Government last year and has attracted 241 Twitter followers and 42 Facebook friends, according to an announcement by the town manager’s office.
