The Holliston Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale on May 18 from 9 a.m. to noon on the First Congregational Church green at Hollis and Washington streets. The sale will be held rain or shine, and will include a selection of perennials dug from members’ gardens, hanging baskets, and annual flowering plants. Proceeds will be used toward the club’s programs, which include scholarships and grants for local students and educators, book and magazine donations to the library, and intergenerational gardening programs with nursing home patients and elementary students. Proceeds are also used for the club’s plantings around town, including the library garden, Memorial Square, and at several traffic islands.
