Land group opens doors to meeting

The public is invited to the Southborough Open Land Foundation’s annual meeting Tuesday night, when the nonprofit group will honor individuals who have worked to preserve and protect the local environment. It will feature a presentation by John Maguiranis, the Massachusetts representative for Project Coyote, on how to coexist with the animals. The annual Elaine Beals Conservation Award will also be presented to Rhonda Russian, a longtime town Conservation Commission member. Refreshments will be served during the gathering, which begins at 7 p.m. in the Community House, 28 Main St. Visit www.solf.org to learn more.
