The Wayland Free Public Library will feature Katrien Vander Straeten in a talk about honeybees and beekeeping at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday as the last Great Presenters program of the season. Vander Straeten started with one hive in 2010 and now has three hives in her backyard in Wayland. She also formed BEElieve Wayland, which strives to support new and veteran beekeepers, to regrow the local honeybee population, and to raise awareness about the need for honeybees.
