Summer is right around the corner, and the town’s Parks and Recreation Department is seeking qualified lifeguards and swimming instructors for Sandy Pond Beach, which will open for the season on May 25 for Memorial Day weekend. The beach will be open every weekend until June 15, and then open daily through Labor Day. Candidates for the part-time positions, which require Red Cross certified lifeguard, first aid, and CPR training, can drop off their resumes at the department’s office in Town Hall, at 1 Main St. For more information, call 978-772-8217.
