The Board of Selectmen voted unanimously last month to approve a contract with Weston and Sampson Engineers Inc. for a study of the town’s water and sewer system. The $170,000 contract means work can begin on prevention of ground water contamination affecting Bedford’s water lines. Partial funding for the contract will come from a Massachusetts Water Resources Authority loan program.
