The Franklin Downtown Partnership and Franklin Garden Club are seeking volunteers and donations for their 10th annual Beautification Day, slated for next weekend. The groups plan to install more than 1,000 flowers and greens in planter boxes downtown, as well as mulch the memorial gardens on the town common, from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. All residents, especially students in need of community services hours, are asked to donate their time. Anyone interested in sponsoring or volunteering for the event should contact Eileen Mason at firstname.lastname@example.org . For more information, visit the business group’s website, www.franklindowntownpartnership.org .
